Step by Step Instructions Continued
8 Print 2 copies of the accent patterns. Allowing a 1/2” border around the outer edges of the accent pattern, cut away the excess printer paper.
Working one accent pattern at a time, apply an even coating of paste craft glue to the back of the accent pattern paper. Adhere the accent pattern paper to the back of one 12” x 12” sheet of Color 3. Gently smooth out any wrinkles and press into position. Repeat for the remaining three accent patterns.

9 Using an X-acto knife or embroidery scissors cut along the outline of each accent pattern.
10 Apply an even coating of spray adhesive to the back of each accent pattern. Position each along the inner edge of each board quarter, allowing the accent pattern to touch the center cross border papers. Gently press into position.
11 Using artist quality colored pencils create a shadow along the edges of the accent pattern on the background pattern paper of each quarter of the board. Work some colored pencil shading along the edges of the center cross borders.
12 Complete your backgammon game board by inserting it in a sectional frame, under Plexiglas.
